Rotwand - Vaél - Ciampedié
Tour description
Transfer with the shuttle bus to the Frommer pasture. From here we’ll continue to the Koelner shelter. That is where the hike starts: from the Paolina shelter at 2140m to the Rotwand shelter at 2280m. Here you will encounter a stunning view of the rocks of the Rosengarten area and the neighboring mountains of the Dolomites – from the Pala range to the Marmolada and the Tofana.
Transfer with the shuttle bus to the Frommer pasture. From here we’ll continue to the Koelner shelter. Schlern crossing
Tour description
Transfer to the Seiser pasture, 45 minutes at 1855m. Across the rolling meadows of the Seiser pasture to the Saltner Scwaige at 1830m. This is where the ascent to the Schlern high altitude plateau starts, followed by the Gamssteig path to the peak of Monte Pez at 2600m. Afterwards descent to the historic Schlern house. Lunch. The view stretches from Rosengarten and the central and easter Dolomites ranges up to the glaciers of the main Alpine ranges. The descent follows along the high altitude pasture to the Tschafatsch saddle at 2020m and via a steep slope back to the hotel Dosses.

Seiseralm – Roßzahnscharte – Tierser Alpl Bärenloch-Tschamin Valley - Hotel Dosses
Route
We’ll take the bus from Seis to the Seiseralm cable car which takes us to Compatsch. From there we’ll take the chair lift to the alpine restaurant “Panorama” at 2010m above sea level. Across alpine pastures we’ll hike beneath the Goldkopf up along to the Roßzähne. Afterwards, the path ascends in steep curves through rocky terrain up to the Roßzahnscharte at 2520m. From there we’ll be able to enjoy a great view over the Rosengarten range with its Molignon crest and the Marmolada. After a short crossing we’ll reach the Tierser Alpl shelter where we’ll have lunch.

Tschager Joch - Grasleitenpaß - Tschamintal
Tour description
Transfer with the shuttle bus to the Frommer pasture at 1745m. From here you’ll take the chairlift up to the Koelner shelter at 2337m. Initially you’ll encounter a number of rocky steps followed by rocky terrain with a steep incline to the Tschagerjoch at 2630m,1,20 St. Amazing view of the Marmolada and the Larsec mountain range. Descent along the 600m high Rosengarten eastern face to the Vajolet shelter at 2243m, 1.15 St Further up to the Grasleiten pass at 2600m, 1 St. and to the shelter with the same name underneath the Kesselkogel – at 3008m it is the highest peak of the Rosengarten range. The descent follows through the Grasleitenkessel valleyt amid the impressive alpine terrain to the Grasleiten shelter at 2165m and from there into the Tschamin valley. You’ll enjoy the beautiful hike along the Tschamin brook back to St. Zyprian at 1200m and to the hotel Dosses.

Transfer past the Proesels castle to the Voelser lake at 1050m. Ascent through the forest to the Tuff pasture at 1270m. Here we’ll have a short break. We’ll continue the tour along the Hammer face in relatively flat terrain with meadows and forests. From here you’ll get great views of the Schlern plateau, into the Eisack valley and the Rittner mountain.
