Wassersteig – Rotwand – Frommer
Tour description
Transfer with the hiking shuttle bus to the Frommer pasture (1745m), from here you’ll take the chair lift to the Kölnerhütte (2350m) where the trail begins. Over the Wassersteig, beneath the Rotwandhütte to the Christomanus sculpture (2220m). From there you’ll move on to the Rotwandhütte (2280m) where you’ll have lunch.
Transfer with the hiking shuttle bus to the Frommer pasture (1745m), from here you’ll take the chair lift to the Kölnerhütte (2350m) where the trail begins. Over the Wassersteig, beneath the Rotwandhütte to the Christomanus sculpture (2220m). From there you’ll move on to the Rotwandhütte (2280m) where you’ll have lunch.
You’ll continue from the Rotwandhütte through the Zirm forest down to the Karer pass. With a bit of luck you should be able to watch sunbathing marmots. From there you’ll follow hiking trail No. 1 and get back to the Frommer pasture where the shuttle bus will pick you up and drive back to the hotel.
